The Return

True friendships never ends and good rituals live forever.  I have recently been in contact with an old classmate from high school.  Apart from growing up together we had a very strong bond through music.  I always found him to be an older soul at least when it came to music.  I believe he even expressed on more than one occasion that he should have been born in the 60’s or 70’s.  He is the reason I will always be stubborn about ‘The Stones’ being much better than ‘The Beatles’.

When I went off to college we started a habit of trading mix tapes.  Much like our school days I would turn him on to new bands and he would introduce me the classics.  After many years without talking ceremony of sorts is back.  Here is his first mix aptly called ‘The Return’, enjoy this great mix of modern meets classic meets covers meets just fucking great music.

Knowing you would post this very personal and intimate compilation… i wouldn’t have included Hugh Grant! May the tradition endure!

Lol. I think by not including Mr.Grant the compilation would have lost it’s axis. Lets focus on the real issue here.the art direction!
